If you are familiar with Genshin Impact, you should know by now just how many characters there are in the game and the abundance of posts online about people pulling for all those characters.
But have you ever wondered if they actually regretted pulling for them?
There is a post just about that on Genshin Impact official reddit made by user riridouluvme. He collected the data by going through a post in the subreddit and recorded over 1000 answers, later presenting them in the form of charts.

From the results, we have Cyno rocking first place with Klee in second and Childe in third.
Via the comments and the charts, the main reason players regret pulling for Cyno is mainly due to his kit and damage. Which is understandable seeing as how Cyno by himself performs much worse than Keqing, a standard banner 5 star.
Cyno CAN be a top tier DPS but you’ll need to either play in a Quickbloom or Aggravate team, both needing Dendro in it. The average Genshin player don’t normally go for reactions and unless you pull Nahida, good luck trying to actually make it work with Collei.
As for Klee, the main reason for being the second most regretted pull is gameplay, which again, is understandable. Klee’s standard gameplay is VERY clunky and you actually need to know animation cancelling to properly use her.
Sure, she’s one of the few Pyro characters that don’t rely on reactions for big damage but what damage are you actually doing when most of your attacks won’t even reach the enemies?
Childe, ah yes, poor old Childe. Not only is he abused weekly as a boss, he’s also one of the characters with a very hard to master gameplay. Putting the Riptide mechanic aside, Childe’s main source of damage, his E, can get to a whopping 40 seconds cooldown if you’re not careful.
It’s pretty punishing when you’re just here to unga bunga in Genshin but then you’re forced to wait a solid 40 seconds to continue your rampage.
Other notable mentions in the poll includes Xiao, Ganyu and Hu Tao, the three top DPS in Genshin rocking the top 10. From the comments and the chart, it’s mostly due to their gameplay.
What about you? What is the character that you regret the most for pulling? Personally, I regret pulling for Cyno and that’s mainly because I was pulling for Candance, which I did not get. Gacha, amirite?
