Arc System Works has announced that DNF Duel will be getting a season pass, with 5 new characters coming to the game.

The season pass is set to release in 2023, with the first new character coming to DNF Duel being the previously-teased Spectre class.

There’s been no word on the exact release date, however, or even a roadmap for when the other characters are going to launch.

It’s a big day for DNF Duel- today also marks the start of the game’s Grand Balance Patch, the first major update to the game’s system since launch.

The changes are available to read on the DNF Duel website, with the update available now for players to try out in the game.

This patch was previously teased as being “All buffs”, seeing every character get big changes such as fixes to universal mechanics like rolling and Guard Counters, as well as reworks to certain character Awakening Skills.

Combo functionality has also been improved overall, with many characters having access to more options like jump cancellable moves, as well as attacks that float enemies higher.

In addition to that the game will also be getting a Switch release, coming to the the handheld on April 20th, 2023.
