At Jump Festa 2023, Spy x Family announced two big projects in the works, one of them being a 2nd season.

Not only would Spy x Family be getting a 2nd season for the TV series, there will also be an anime original film. Both the second season and movie will be releasing in 2023 but the exact date has yet to be revealed.

In addition, the movie will have new characters and an entirely original plot fully written by Endou Tatsuya himself. As for the second season, they did not announce how long it will run but judging from the first season, it could run for 25 episodes in two separate cours.

Spy x Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Endou Tatsuya. The story follows Loid Forger, a spy who has to build a family for his mission. He, however, is unaware that his adopted daughter, Anya Forger, is a telepath and the woman he married, Yor Forger, is a skilled assassin.

The manga is currently serialized in Shounen Jump, currently at 72 chapters which you can read for free in MangaPlus. The first season for the anime adaptation is also still airing and you can catch them on Netflix.
