Square Enix’s Battle of Bladeswas supposed to launch on 27 November but due to technical difficulties, the game was delayed to an unknown date. Surprisingly, the game is already live (without any early notice) and you can download it from Japan’s App Store or Google Play now.
To recap, Battle of Blades is a 4-on-4 fantasy battle arena mobile game where you will team up with 4 players to battle the powerful opponent “Darkness”. There are different types of character roles such as Attackers, Supporters and Balanced, each of them comes with a unique customizable skill tree.
The game features more than 60 collectible characters, you can obtain them through different method – the story mode, events or Gacha. Game modes including PvP Deathmatch, Raid and Point Capture are available as well, which each mode lasts about only 3 minutes.
