[Guide] Path To Nowhere – Tier List

Path To Nowhere has been out for quite some time now so it is fair to say that people have starting to get a good grasp of how this tower defense game works and even their own tier list.

However, for those that are still learning and are quite lost at what each sinners do and what you should be aiming or, check out our Path to Nowhere tier list tailored just for you.

Each Sinners in Path to Nowhere are rated based on their individual performances so some team reliant Sinners might be ranked a little lower than what you would expect in the tier list.

Do remember that this tier list only serves as a reference and should in no way dictate how you should play Path to Nowhere.

The game is entirely free to play and one of the best characters, Nox, is also free so you do not need to worry much about the overall PvE experience for the game.

S-Rank

S-rank Sinners are the cream of the crop. Having them in your team is sure to give massive advantages. Take Demon for example, he is the best tank anyone could ask for and in the right situation he can produce enough shields to make him basically unkillable.

	Nox	S	Fury	Permanently reduces enemies' defenses and gains more attacks the more she kills
	Baiyi	S	Umbra	Core damage dealer that can passively increase attack speed and a higher innate Crit rate that restores energy upon crit
	Labyrinth	B	Umbra	Core damage that can store 2 charges to break 2 core shields at command
	Langley	S	Reticle	Special that can hit areas of your choice and can apply debuffs to enemies to deal more damage to them the more debuff stacks they have
	Eirene	S	Arcane	Increase her own Ultimate damage the more times ally uses their Ultimate and passively increases her own energy when near the Chief
	Hamel	S	Catalyst	Heals with every attack and has an AoE healing with a passive that increases the effect and reduce the damage taken by allies within the AoE

A-Rank

Sinners in the A-rank tier are pretty much the best Sinners in their role but do not outperform their S-rank counterparts. But don’t worry too much about it, these A-rank Sinners can still pretty much carry you out through the entire game even without having an S tier Sinners.

Take Chelse for example, she excels in what an Endura job does best, blocking enemies and RouLecca who just keeps on dishing out huge damages as a Reticle.

	Crache	S	Umbra	A Pure Physical DPS that can deal immense AoE damage with her special at the cost of not blocking any enemies
	Serpent	S	Umbra	Increases normal attack damage when no enemies are nearby and also applies a slow debuff with her attacks, all the while increasing the speed of her attacks
	EMP	B	Reticle	Special that can snipe out low HP enemies and a receives a permanent buff for every kills she get
	Pricilla	A	Reticle	DPS with a special to enhance her normal attacks at the cost of no energy recovery and can summon a clone of herself to battle
	RouLecca	A	Reticle	Pure DPS that can increase her crit rate and crit damage everytime she attacks
	Summer	S	Reticle	Pure DPS with a cannon that has 100% crit rate upon entering battle
	Hecate	A	Arcane	Core damage dealer thanks to her special which will also hit everyone in that range
	Luvia Ray	A	Arcane	Normal Attack focused playstyle whose attacks can bounce off enemies with a a passive oriented it
	Victoria	A	Arcane	Deals damage at the cost of her HP while also gaining more attack the lower her HP
	Aerial	A	Catalyst	The next best choice to Hamel, with the same healing capabilities as her but with much lesser output and she can also deal damage through her attacks

B-Rank

Sinners in the B-rank tier are good in doing what their roles asks them to do and nothing else. Some even have the same gimmicks S-rank Sinners have but the value they bring isn’t that too significant that it should be prioritied outside of what they should be doing.

For example Anne, she has a wide range for her healing but it’s best to not invest on the range but rather on the potency of her healing.

	Peggy	Peggy	Endura	Much like Demon, can generate shields for days but only for herself and not for her allies
	Kava - Kava	A	Endura	The only Endura with the ability to heal other allies to provide more survivability
	Pacassi	A	Fury	One of few magical attacking Fury that can break enemy core shield and a passive that deals AoE magical damage over time to chip enemies health
	Che	A	Fury	Core damage dealer with a good range and has a special debuff that deals extra damage the more debuff stacks the enemies have
	Wendy	A	Fury	A madwoman that can plow huge burst damage with her passive
	Tetra	A	Umbra	A unique sinner that can move to another position with her special and gains bonus crit rate when she kills an enemy, stunning them when her attack crits
	Flora	B	Reticle	Deals extra damage at the cost of her attack speed and gains an increase in crit rate the more normal attack she does
	Joan	B	Arcane	Has a special that increases her attack speed and a debuff that increases her damage the more stacks of debuff the enemies have
	OliFeR	A	Arcane	Core damage dealer with her own special debuff to deal extra damage to enemies
	Kelvin	B	Arcane	Attacks can slow down enemy and can reduce the damage taken for the ally with the lowest HP
	Ignis	A	Arcane	Fire based magical attacker that can not only deal damage over time with her burn debuff, but also stops any healing abilities
	Macchiato	B	Catalyst	She is the budget Ariel and Hamel but can only provide single target heals with a decent range
	Anne	A	Catalyst	Has a wide range for her heals however she cannot recover energy during her special

C-Rank

C-Rank Sinners are decent at the role they do and that is pretty much that they can do. Some Sinners, like Cinnabar for example, can perform far better that normal but for that she needs to be paired with other Shielders.

If you have characters at a higher ranking that them, it reaps much more benefit for you if you invest on them even rather than the C-rank sinners.

	Horo	A	Fury	Core damage dealer at the cost of lowering her damage after using her special
	Dolly	A	Fury	A good passive that allows her to hit multiple enemies in the same square, which most Fury units cannot
	Sumire	A	Umbra	Works much better when enemies are in front of her directly thanks to her kit that deals extra damage in those scenarios
	Iren	A	Umbra	Also can reposition with her special and has physical penetration to her kit
	Wolverine	A	Reticle	A utility sniper that stuns enemies with the traps that he sets up
	Fox	A	Catalyst	Exchange his healing capabilities for damage reduction for all allies
	Chameleon	A	Catalyst	Exchange her healing capabilities for buffing the attack speed for a single ally

D-Rank

Sinners in this rank are sub-par at best and the things they can offer are not really that useful. It’s not that they are entirely too bad, it happens when there are other Sinners out there that can do what they do much better.
