During the Primetime livestream for Gamescom Asia 2022, a new trailer showcasing gameplay for the upcoming indie action RPG title – Cuisineer was shown off.

Developed by BattleBrew Productions, Cuisineer is a food focused game where you play as Pom, an adventurer who has returned back to her hometown of Paell only to find out that you’ve inherited the family restaurant but it is in debt and on the brink of collapse and the only way to pay back the debt is to reopen the restaurant.

From the gameplay trailer, we control as Pom as we traverse the dungeon to which it seems to have the levels be separated into floors, as we fend off against monsters to collect ingredients as we dive deeper into the dungeon, which has procedurally generated levels.

Cuisineer is also split into two main gameplay elements, one being the aforementioned dungeon-delving, and the other one becomes a restaurant simulator where the game has you running your restaurant where you cook up meals using the ingredients that you’ve gathered from defeating the monsters and manage your customer’s every needs.

There also seems to be a main hub area where you go around town and purchase either weapon upgrades, consumables and even take on quests from the NPCs!

From the trailer shown off at livestream event for Gamescom Asia, there’s still no updates as to when Cuisineer is set to be released but players who are interested can add the game to their Steam wishlist here.
