Metal Slug Tactics delayed to 2023

Metal Slug Tactics has been delayed to 2023, as announced through Dotemu‘s official Twitter. The notice is a simple one, which reads:

Marco, Eri, Fio, and Tarma are tinkering away to make #MetalSlugTactics as explosive as possible on release, but the squad needs a bit more time in the shop to prepare for the battles ahead. See you in 2023!

The game was initially revealed at the 2021 Summer Game Fest, first only announced for PC before also getting announced for Nintendo Switch. It’s unfortunate that Metal Slug Tactics has gotten delayed, but it is what it is. If you’re wondering what the game is, here’s an overview:
