Hololive Productions had recently relaunched one of their official websites – Hololive Fanclub back in February to show off the Hololive Summer Event.

During the showcase of one of the Hololive Summer Event yesterday, the livestream was shown on the Hololive Fanclub website instead of the usual streams on Youtube and it features some of our favourite oshis messing around with one another in matching swim wears.

While the live stream for the Hololive Summer Event was mostly free to watch, there are some parts of the stream where it’s limited to member-only segments.

To those who are wondering, there are two subscription plans for the Hololive Fanclub, and those being the monthly and yearly plan with them being priced at 550 yen (18 MYR / 4 USD) and 6,600 yen (218 MYR /49 USD) respectively. Which in my opinion, isn’t too bad compared to other subscription plans.

And of course, that doesn’t stop the dedicated Hololive Fans as the Fanclub website was flooded due to the large amount of users visiting the website. The influx of people visiting the website even caused the delay of the Summer Event.

But with Hololive choosing to stream their summer event content on their own website is a really good way to avoid any demonetisation attempts that would normally be an issue if they were to stream it on Youtube. And with how large the fandom has become, it’s completely plausible to stream events in on a different platform than their usual channels and still be able to garner huge amount of views.

The Hololive Fanclub has also features exclusive videos streams as well as blog posts which feature original wallpapers and calendar art, but most of those wallpapers are tied behind the membership plan.

It is still unsure that if Hololive will be featuring future events over on the Fanclub website but it’s safe to say that they won’t slowly transistion their talent’s streams from Youtube to this website.
