Mojiken Studio and Toge Productions are collaborating with Indonesian webcomic writers Kosmik Network to create a webcomic spin-off from their game A Space for the Unbound titled ‘A Space for the Unbound: Broken Memories’.

A Space for the Unbound: Broken Memories is a webcomic based on the story of Niken, an ordinary math teacher within the universe of A Space for the Unbound. As she continues to get inexplicable visions during her days, she feels like she is perceiving the world differently from the people around her which prevents her from truly connecting with others.

In her deep loneliness, she meets another person who shares her pain. The webcomic will be based in the same universe as the main game A Space for the Unbound, following a different cast from the main game.

The webcomic will be a collaboration between the creators of the game A Space for the Unbound, Mojiken Studio, and Toge Productions, and the team of Kosmik Network who has created webcomic titles CODE Helix and Romance Punch.

Mojiken Studio is an Indonesia-based indie developer team most well-known for their beautifully hand-drawn games such as ‘She and the Light Bearer’ and ‘When the Past Was Around’. Toge Productions is a SouthEast Asian publisher located in Indonesia that is most well-known for its games ‘Coffee Talk’ and the ‘Infectonator’ series.

A Space for the Unbound is a slice-of-life adventure game with beautiful pixel art that tells a story about overcoming anxiety, depression, and the relationship between a boy and a girl with supernatural powers. Set in a small town inspired by 90s-era rural Indonesia. It presents an endearing story-driven experience with a vibrant environment waiting to be explored.

The first chapter forA Space for the Unbound: Broken Memories has launched on Line Webtoon Canvas, where readers can read for free and chapters will be updated on a weekly basis in both Indonesian and English. While waiting for new chapters, the extended prologue chapter to A Space for the Unbound can be played for free now on Steam. The full game will also be available on Steam later in 2022.
