Marvel Snap has been announced, dubbing itself the “fastest card battler in the Multiverse!”.
The fastest card battler in the Multiverse! Assemble your MARVEL dream team in this action-packed 1v1 multiplayer collectible card game coming to Mobile and PC.
You’re supposed to be able to sign up for a limited closed beta on Android or any relevant Marvel Snap news for availability in your region through the official website, which may or may not be fully established yet. There’s some loading issues that should sort themselves out.
Here’s some basics as per the Gameplay Walkthrough video:
- “Cosmic Cubes” indicate your ranking in the ladder. Win to gain one, or say goodbye to yours if you lose.
- “Locations” have different effects, revealed over 3 turns. You need to control 2 out of 3 to win.
- Have more Power than your opponent at a location to win
- Maximum 6 turns per game
- Cards have various effects and cost as you might expect
- Persistent effects, “on reveal”, moving themselves, etc.
Meanwhile, the closed beta looks to be only for Android at present with players required to fill up a survey. Eligible countries include United States, Canada, Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand. Test data will NOT be deleted.
