Yggdra Resonance has begun accepting pre-registrations for its upcoming launch in Japan, with the regular line-up of milestone rewards. The official website can be found here, listing rewards up to 300,000 users, offering premium currency, resources, and the 2-star unit, “Maribelle”. A new promotional video has been released with the announcement.
The game is currently planned to launch sometime Spring 2022. Feel free to rack up the pre-registrations count, even though as usual, Yggdra Resonance is only expected to be available in Japan for the time being.
As for the game itself, Yggdra Resonance employs a rather unique and interesting synchronisation mechanic which will factor in real world time and weather to portray the in-game world of Midgard. How this will impact gameplay was not disclosed however. Plot-wise, players will experience a tale revolving around girls with special abilities, though the primary focus will be that on one Norne, who will be accompanying the player throughout the journey.
A closed beta for the game concluded late January 2022. From the previews, the game works similarly to Princess Connect, with the added twist of the synchronisation mechanics that may influence how the skills work or even the battlefield. It’ll be curious to find out if it syncs with JST or your system time when it goes live.
