Re:Zero – The Forbidden Book & Mysterious Spirit, a browser-based game from DMM Games has announced that it will be ending its service. This gacha game is only available in Japan and never had an English release.
The announcement was made earlier today via the game’s Twitter account:
In English, the announcement states::
“Re:Zero – The Forbidden Book & Mysterious Spirit” will be terminated on July 14, 2022. Thank you for your continued support. Please check the in-game announcement for details.
According to the in-game announcement, the game’s final event titled “The Forbidden Book & Mysterious Spirit” will be ongoing from today until the termination of the game’s service. All units and equipment that have been released in the game will be available via this event.

The gacha banner also allows players to make one free pull every day.
Besides the event, the maximum number of challenges per day for the Dungeon has increased to 100 times. Players will also receive Magic Crystals (the game’s premium currency) every day as a login bonus.
Like all gacha games that have announced the end of their service, players can no longer purchase premium currency. However, they could still spend whatever they have currently.
The game first launched back on 14 July 2021. It will shut down exactly 1 year since it began service.
Stay updated with the game by following it on Twitter. Re:Zero fans can also check out Disgaea RPG which is currently having a Re:Zero collab.
