God Eater, a famous IP by Bandai Namco based on the Japanese animated series has recently announced their upcoming mobile game! The game dubbed God Eater: Resonant Ops will be available for both iOS and Android for free with some in-game micro-transactions. Like most of the God Eater games, this will also be an RPG.

God Eater as you all might know, takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where it was destroyed by mysterious monsters called Aragami. To fight and eradicate the monsters, an organization was birthed known as Fenrir. They fight using ‘God Arcs’ as weapons that are made from Aragami cells. However not all can wield them and for those who are able to, they are known as the God Eaters. 

The story in the game will be pretty much the same. It will take place in AD 20178 (four years after God Eater 2: Rage Burst) where humankind continued to decline in numbers and a large-scale strategy was announced. You as the the protagonist, rookie God Eater, will be throwing yourself into battle in restricted areas to eradicate the Aragamis.

Currently, pre-registration is available on the official site. They are running a milestone event and based on how many pre-registers, players will receive the following when the game officially launches:

• 10,000 pre-registrations – One G Gem (one round of gacha) + Strengthening God Arc (Strengthening Material)
• 30,000 pre-registrations – One G Gem (one round of gacha) + God Arc Strengthening Materials Set
• 50,000 pre-registrations – One G Gem (one round of gacha) + 10,000 FC (in-game currency)
• 70,000 pre-registrations – Two G Gems (two rounds of gacha) + 4-Star God Arc Brilliance (Erina)
• 100,000 pre-registrations – Five G Gems (five rounds of gacha) + 4-Star Branch Leader Alisa (Diva Eater Ver.)
