Anchor Panic will be commencing their “Arrival Test” beta on 5 January 2022. Both Android and iOS will be able to participate, with iOS specifically limited to 9000 players due to platform restrictions. iOS players will need to obtain the game via TestFlight. At the end of the testing period, data will be deleted. No end time is specified at time of writing.

In order to join the beta, Android users can access the game through its TapTap page on 5 January 2022 from 10:00 to 17:00. Once you’re in the game, you’ll need to have created a character and completed a battle before 5 January 2022, 24:00, to actually “qualify” for the test.

The page admits that the current build is at low optimization due to the tight development schedules, providing the following minimum requirements:

• Android: Snapdragon 430 or better
• iOS: iPhone 7 or later

You won’t be able to play your Android account on an iOS one, or vice versa. Any previous beta clients you may have should be uninstalled for this build. Game performance aside, the story is not finalized either. Should you encounter any problems, you can provide feedback as necessary to the development team.

The game is a 3D action RPG set in a sci-fi, which is quite reminiscent of Honkai Impact 3rd to name but one. It only lists Simplified Chinese as a supported language, nor is there an immediately apparent notice for a global release. Do give it a try anyway if you’d like!
