Game Source Entertainment has officially announced that TEVI, a 2D Metroidvania action game developed by Taiwanese indie studio CreSpirit, will receive physical editions for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 releasing on July 17, 2025. Pre-orders for the physical versions are now open and will include special bonuses for early purchasers.
Players who pre-order the physical edition for either platform before June 2, 2025, will receive an exclusive mousepad featuring artwork by development team member Ein Lee. The artwork depicts the main characters Tevi, Vena, Sable, and Celia enjoying waffles together with bunnies, capturing a relaxing scene from their daily lives.

TEVI takes place in Az, a fantasy continent populated by three main races: magic-wielding humans, animal-eared beastkin, and biomechanical hybrids called magitch. Players control Tevi, a self-proclaimed genius engineer, as she journeys across five major cities to uncover the mystery of the “Gear.”
The game features a dynamic combat system where Tevi wields both a dagger and an oversized wrench for melee attacks, while companions Celia and Sable provide ranged magical support as floating orbitars. Boss battles promise to be challenging, featuring multiple phases with increasingly difficult attack patterns and the ability to put bosses into a vulnerable “BREAK” state for massive damage opportunities.

The expansive world of TEVI contains over 300 different items and equipment pieces to discover, which can enhance abilities or provide new ways to navigate and uncover secrets. Players can customize their playstyle through configurable sigils, creating builds that match their preferred approach to combat and exploration.

Game Source Entertainment will be publishing the Asian physical editions of TEVI, which promise to deliver an adventure filled with action, friendship, mysteries, and danger in a richly detailed pixel art world.
