Wuthering Waves Version 3.0 marks a major update for fans. In addition to a new region and endgame content, the update introduces a Persona and Sonic collaboration event.

Kuro Games showcased this during the Version 3.0 preview livestream on December 12, 2025 (UTC+8). Furthermore, the full update, “We Who See the Stars,” will release around December 25, 2025.

Persona and Sonic Join the Startorch Era

This collaboration integrates with Version 3.0’s Expedition Motorbike system. Players can race through the Lahai-Roi region on motorcycles themed after Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Additionally, the event blends Persona’s stylish energy with Sonic’s signature speed, creating a unique racing experience. Consequently, it encourages players to explore the new region while completing themed challenges.

Collaboration Event Rewards and Features

Players can earn linkage paintings, exclusive motorcycle music, and development materials by completing special event tasks. Moreover, Kuro Games added motorcycle liveries and stickers featuring iconic characters from Persona and Sonic. Therefore, players can personalize their Expedition Motorbike with these limited-time designs.

Potential Music Track Collaboration

The collab may also include exclusive music tracks. Since Persona and Sonic are known for iconic soundtracks, the Expedition Motorbike’s radio feature provides the perfect platform for them. If implemented, this addition could further enhance the racing experience and immersion.

Kuro Games expects the collaboration to launch within Version 3.0. Meanwhile, players can prepare for the update by exploring existing regions and collecting resources.
