With a new banner refresh that will last until 29 November 2021, we have the addition of Mejiro Dober to the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby lineup. The ever growing list of Mejiro girls has now a new addition, with Mejiro Bright the remaining one for the time being waiting to be included.

Mejiro Dober might be one of the more interesting additions to the roster in a while, at least on paper. Yes, while her skillset and strategy affinity suggests that she might be best suited to be a leader or betweener, she might secretly be optimal as a runner instead. First off, she comes with a gold track affinity for Kyoto racetracks, which will be handy for future Champion’s Meeting. While such abilities benefit all strategies, runners in particular want these to enable to three skill requirement for Groundwork. Tack on Runner’s Tricks and Rainy Day and you will have a strong contender in this unorthodox build. Furthermore, Mejiro Dober has a much sought after unique acceleration ability that will greatly benefit runners. More importantly, her training bonuses in speed and wisdom makes her very easy to be specced accordingly.
