A new PV for the Shield Hero mobile game, simply called The Rising of the Shield Hero RERISE has been released, giving a very brief peek into what the game will entail. You can watch it below:

The trailer boasts the usual “game original scenario” and appears to be a turn-based RPG of some sorts. The voice actors reprise their roles from the anime in the game.

There are pre-registration rewards too, with milestones up to 300,000 registrations. Rewards include:

• 2000 premium currency
• Guaranteed character ticket
• Growth materials
• Raphtalia unit

Going by Gamewith, you’ll be going through node by node on the map. In battle, you can field up to five characters and they’ll do battle with the waves of enemies that will spawn. As usual, your characters will have their regular skills as well as their specials, with units who deal damage, and those who will heal. Characters can be levelled up and “awakened” and further strengthened with the use of equipment.

It appears that the game also has idle mechanics, so even if you don’t have much time to play, then that’s less of an issue. There will also be PVP as well as a guild mechanic.

There was no mention of the release date for The Rising of Shield Hero RERISE in the PV, so this will have to do for now.
