Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE Launches on Steam June 27

Visual novel fans can soon dive into a heartwarming island tale as Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE officially launches on Steam this June 27, 2025, complete with English, Japanese, and Chinese language support.

Originally released in Japan in 2020 by renowned VN studio Key (Clannad, Little Busters!), REFLECTION BLUE is an expanded version of the original 2018 Summer Pockets, adding new characters, story routes, and quality-of-life updates.

Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE will support English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese text, featuring full Japanese voice acting (except for the protagonist) and Steam Deck compatibility, as well as touchscreen support for compatible hardware, as confirmed by PROTOTYPE, whose LUCA System engine is being used for the visual novel.

The story follows Hairi Takahara, a young man who returns to the remote island of Torishirojima after the loss of his grandmother. Hoping to escape his fast-paced life, he instead becomes entangled in the lives of several girls, each carrying their own emotional scars and mysteries. As the summer days unfold, Hairi discovers that some of the most meaningful journeys take place during moments of stillness and connection.
