Sony Raises Prices on PS5, PS5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it will increase its prices for its PlayStation 5 consoles (PS5 and PS5 Pro) and the PlayStation Portal remote player across the globe. The new prices take effect on April 2, 2026.

In a statement, Isabelle Tomatis, Vice President of Global Marketing at Sony Interactive Entertainment, cited ongoing challenges in the global economy as the reason behind the decision. “After careful evaluation, we found this was a necessary step to ensure we can continue delivering innovative, high-quality gaming experiences to players worldwide,” she said.
