Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms on February 13, 2026. Marvelous USA announced the port, confirming that all free updates previously released for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC will be available at launch on the new platforms.
The game will offer three digital editions across both platforms. The standard edition costs $59.99, while the Digital Deluxe edition is priced at $69.99 and includes the Seasons of Love Bundle, Festive Attire, and Dark Woolby Bundle. The Super Digital Deluxe edition runs $79.99 and adds a digital soundtrack and digital art book to the package. All digital purchases come with the Rune Factory 4 Hero Outfit Bundle as a bonus. Previously released DLC, including the Story of Seasons Bundle and Sakuna DLC, will also be available when the game launches.
A physical edition will be released exclusively for PlayStation 5 at $59.99, with pre-orders set to open soon on Amazon.

Guardians of Azuma takes the series to a new setting influenced by Eastern culture. The region of Azuma has been damaged by an event called the Celestial Collapse, which weakened the local gods and caused the land to deteriorate. Players take on the role of an Earth Dancer, one of two playable protagonists, who is connected to a dragon and must work to restore the region.
The game blends action RPG combat, farming, and community building. Players can use new weapons including bows and talismans, along with dance-based Earth Dancer abilities, to fight enemies and cleanse corrupted areas. The game shifts focus from managing a single farm to restoring entire villages. Rebuilding these settlements brings residents back to the region and helps revive the gods connected to each area.
