Resident Evil Requiem Pre-Orders Now Open, Additional Content and Collaborations Announced

Capcom has announced that pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem are now open on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC through Steam and Epic Games Store.

Players can choose from three different versions of the game. The Standard Edition costs $69.99 (£64.99 / €79.99 / ¥8,990) and includes the base game. Switch 2 users will receive a game-key card instead of a physical disc. All pre-orders come with “Grace’s Costume: Apocalypse” as a bonus, though this costume may become available for purchase later.

The Deluxe Edition is priced at $79.99 (£74.99 / €89.99 / ¥9,990) and adds several extra items on top of the base game. Players will get five costumes including “Grace’s Costume: Dimitrescu,” two filters including “Filter: Apocalypse,” four weapon skins including “S&S M232 Weapon Skin: Apocalypse,” two charms including “Charm: Mr. Raccoon,” an “Audio Pack: Raccoon City Classic,” and “Files: Letters from 1998.” The pre-order bonus costume is also included.

The SteelBook Edition contains everything from the Deluxe Edition plus a physical SteelBook case and a limited edition lenticular card. Capcom also revealed a Resident Evil Generation Pack for Switch 2, priced at $89.99. This bundle includes Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition, Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, and Resident Evil Requiem. All three games come as game-key cards. A Resident Evil Requiem-themed Switch 2 Pro Controller will launch on the same day as the game.

Additional Content and Collaborations

The game’s protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, will become the first Resident Evil character to receive an amiibo figure. The amiibo is set to release in summer 2026. Players who buy Resident Evil Requiem through the Epic Games Store will receive special Fortnite items, including a Grace outfit, after the game launches. More details about this collaboration will be shared later.

Capcom also announced plans for a Resident Evil Showcase in early 2026, which will provide more information about Resident Evil Requiem. Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
