Fans of Pokémon Pokopia have another reason to celebrate as the Pokémon Truck, in collaboration with Nintendo Switch 2, continues its Malaysian tour this April. Following the game’s official launch on 5 March 2026, the interactive truck experience has been bringing the cozy life-simulation world of Pokémon Pokopia directly to fans, letting them step inside the game in real life and try out its relaxing gameplay firsthand.
Unlike a new event, the Pokémon Truck has been touring Klang Valley since March, transforming popular malls into Pokémon-themed activity zones. Now, players can plan ahead with the confirmed April schedule: the truck will stop at Sungei Wang Plaza from 3 to 5 April, Lalaport BBCC from 10 to 12 April, The Starhill from 17 to 19 April, and IOI City Mall from 24 to 26 April. These stops ensure that fans across Klang Valley have multiple opportunities to experience the Pokémon Truck in action.

Inside the Pokémon Truck
Inside the truck, visitors can find four Nintendo Switch 2 gaming stations, each set up in a cozy lounge with bean bags and air-conditioning to keep the space comfortable. Event staff guide players through 15-minute demo sessions, offering tips on how to explore Pokémon Pokopia’s world efficiently. While some visitors prefer to discover the game on their own, the guidance ensures that even newcomers can quickly get a feel for the game’s building, exploration, and Pokémon interaction mechanics.
Activities Beyond the Game
The Pokémon Truck Experience offers more than just gameplay. Around the truck, visitors can enjoy themed photo booths featuring Pokémon characters such as Professor Tangrowth and Squirtle, as well as colouring stations where younger fans can decorate Pokémon illustrations. Other mini-game stations allow attendees to try titles like Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, rewarding them with collectible Pokémon Pokopia stickers. Visitors can also collect foldable paper sun visors in designs featuring Pikachu, Ditto, and the unique Peakychu variant, while supplies last. Weekend sessions include Pikachu mascot performances, giving families and fans extra opportunities to interact with their favorite Pokémon in a lively and fun environment.
A Cozy Introduction to Pokémon Pokopia
Pokémon Pokopia is a slow-life sandbox game for Nintendo Switch 2 that allows players to explore a peaceful world, build homes, and interact with Pokémon companions while gradually shaping their environment. The game supports up to four players locally or online, making it an inviting experience for families or groups of friends. By bringing Pokémon Pokopia into real-world spaces, the Pokémon Truck captures the cozy charm of the game and gives fans a hands-on introduction to its world before they dive into their own Nintendo Switch 2 adventures.
