PlayStation Studios Malaysia Offers Game Development Training

Get ready to learn AAA game development skills directly from industry experts with the PlayStation Studios Malaysia Training Program. Additionally, this program features two courses – one in CG Animation and one in Game Asset Creation.

The CG Animation course, led by Senior Production Trainer Cha Shyh Lei, will teach participants motion capture animation techniques using Maya’s Time Editor. Moreover, topics include mixing and editing motion capture clips, integrating animation to character rigs, and finalizing animations. In addition, the Game Asset Creation course is a two-day module covering 3D modeling, UV mapping, texturing in Substance Painter, and shading in Unreal Engine. Beginners will learn how to create high-quality game assets that meet AAA standards.

CG Professional Foundation (Animation) Beginner

In this module, participants will explore the world of motion capture animation, focusing on the important techniques of using the Time Editor in Maya. This course will cover the basics of working with motion capture data, from mixing and editing clips to finishing the final animation.

CG Professional Foundation (Art) Beginner

This two-day module offers an in-depth introduction to game asset creation, where participants will learn how to create prop assets that meet AAA game standards.
