Crunchyroll Games has officially announced the opening of pre-registrations for the global/English version of Overlord: MASS FOR THE DEAD! This Dark Fantasy Isekai mobile RPG is, of course, based on the popular dark fantasy light novel/anime series, Overlord.
If you weren’t aware, MASS FOR THE DEAD will have turn-based command battles. Players will also be able to play capture quests and have competition against your friends. For the busy players, the game also has auto-mode capabilities as well as double speed so you can still keep grinding even while you’re away.
Currently, pre-registration rewards are “chaotic stones”, which is the premium currency for the game. Use these stones to summon your favourite Overlord characters! As the number of MASS FOR THE DEAD pre-registrations increase, global players will receive up to a maximum of 1,000 stones for summoning.
The game will be available in North America, Oceania, and Europe (including the UK). Get it on either iOS or Android, expected to launch sometime 2020. This is part of Crunchyroll’s broader commitment to building out a full slate of 360-degree experiences to deepen the community’s engagement with their favorite shows.
