SEGA has released an exclusive video featuring Munetaka Aoki, the voice actor behind Teruhiko Shigaki in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, ahead of the game’s anticipated launch on February 21, 2025. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC via Steam.
In this interview, Aoki reflects on his portrayal of Teruhiko Shigaki, a former yakuza who volunteers to clean up the nuclear waste on Nele Island. He delves into Shigaki’s complex character, sharing insights into his memorable lines and motivations. Aoki also discusses his transition from playing Goro Majima in Amazon Original’s Like a Dragon: Yakuza to joining the Like a Dragon series in this new role.
