Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has announced it will be part of Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global, joining the two-day celebration set to take place at KLCC Park in Kuala Lumpur on July 11 and 12.

The rail operator shared the news on X, inviting festival-goers to “jumpa kami di sana” and encouraging players to plan their trips using the MyRailtime app. KLCC Park has been selected as the official Asia-Pacific location for the Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global Community Celebrations, and entry to the event is free for everyone.

At the park, KTMB will be running booths across both days of the event. Visitors can look forward to interactive activities and photo booths set up by the rail operator. Those who show the KTMB Mobile (KITS) app, a physical Komuter Link card, or a valid QR code transit ticket to staff at the booth will also be able to redeem exclusive Pokémon merchandise.

For those travelling to the event, KTMB has confirmed that stations across multiple regions will be serving attendees. Along the rail routes, players can also expect to find PokéStops as part of the in-game experience tied to the festival. Players and fans heading to KLCC Park that weekend are encouraged to check train schedules and plan their routes ahead of time through the MyRailtime application.

Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global is part of the wider international calendar of events for the augmented reality game, typically featuring special in-game activities, exclusive Pokémon encounters, and large community gatherings. With KLCC Park confirmed as the Asia-Pacific hub for this year’s edition, the event is expected to bring a significant number of players and visitors into the city centre over the course of the weekend.
