Heaven Burns Red x Angel Beats! Collaboration Set to Release This May

Heaven Burns Red, Wright Flyer Studios and Yostar Games free-to-play RPG, have announced that their collaboration with the anime series Angel Beats! will launch this coming May 16.

A recent X post stated that Japanese writer, composer and co-founder of the visual novel brand Key, Jun Maeda, is set to write the limited-time event story called Where the Cosmos Bloom. Players will be able to receive 1,000 Quartz and 30 milestones from the event, which will be claimable for seven days.

Heaven Burns Red is co-developed by Wright Flyer Studios and Jun Maeda, known for popular visual novels, featuring over 50 Japanese voice actors. The game includes humorous, manga-inspired dialogue with a strong emotional theme as well as combat with command-based battles.

The game was first released in Japan in February 2022, followed by a PC release in August 2022. The plot centers on the Phage, which threaten Earth, leading to humanity’s retreat and the loss of much of the planet. Humans have created a new weapon called the Seraph, used by girls known as Seraphim, who form a squad, with Ruka Kayamori being a key character.

The EN version of Heaven Burns Red is available to play on PC, iOS and Android.
