Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension introduces six new Digimon to Digimon Story: Time Stranger. This guide covers the evolution requirements and unique features for each addition.
Understanding Skills and Attachment Skills
Before diving into each Digimon, it’s important to understand the skill system. All six DLC Digimon feature an enhanced attachment skill learning system. Unlike base game Mega+ Digimon that learn attachment skills at levels 2, 25, 35, and 45.
However, all six DLC Digimon use an enhanced progression system with attachment skills available at levels 2, 25, 40, and 60 which extends the maximum skill level by 15 levels compared to standard Mega+ Digimon. The level 60 attachment skill represents the highest learnable skill level available in the game, making these Digimon particularly valuable for late-game content.

Evolution Lines Overview
| Starting Form | Evolves To | Final Evolution | Special Notes |
| MetalGreymon | BlitzGreymon | Omnimon Alter-S (via DNA Digivolution with CresGarurumon) | Virus Type |
| WereGarurumon | CresGarurumon | Omnimon Alter-S (via DNA Digivolution with BlitzGreymon) | Data Type |
| Omnimon Zwart | Omnimon Zwart Defeat | Omnimon Alter-B | Virus Type |
| Dragomon, UlforceVeedramon, Infermon, or Callismon | Parallelmon | N/A | Virus Type |
Mode Change System:
- Omnimon Alter-S ↔ Omnimon Alter-B
- Omnimon Alter-B → Omnimon Zwart Defeat (de-digivolve)
The interconnected Omnimon evolution line allows players to access multiple forms without starting from scratch. Mode changes between Omnimon Alter-S and Alter-B provide tactical flexibility during gameplay.

The New Digimon
BlitzGreymon is a Mega-level Digimon that evolves from MetalGreymon. This Virus-type Android Digimon represents an ultimate form of the Greymon species equipped with electrical cannons. BlitzGreymon charges up its formidable hand-to-hand combat techniques with electricity, sending energy through even the toughest foes with the Plasma Stakes on its arms to destroy them from inside. The Thunder Verniers on its back can be rotated to face forward and fire electricity, or fired to its rear, amplifying its propulsive power. Finally, it can release plasma particles to form a barrier around itself with Elec Guard.
BlitzGreymon serves as one half of a DNA Digivolution pair needed for Omnimon Alter-S.

CresGarurumon is a Mega-level Digimon that evolves from WereGarurumon. This Data-type Beast Knight Digimon is a final form of Garurumon and subspecies of MetalGarurumon that has taken on a humanoid shape. Clad in Gold Digizoid armor that repels attacks, CresGarurumon wields the Yellow Beast Crescent Blade with excellent swordsmanship. It unleashes Beast Cyclone, rotating its body to turn into a blade and assault the enemy, and Fury: Ice Moon Fang, molding ice into countless Yellow Beast Crescent Blades to hurl at the enemy.
CresGarurumon is the second half required for DNA Digivolution into Omnimon Alter-S. Notably, CresGarurumon is the only Data-type among the six new Digimon, which makes it more suitable for main story battles compared to its Virus-type counterparts.

Omnimon Alter-S is a Mega+ Digimon obtained through DNA Digivolution. You need both BlitzGreymon and CresGarurumon to perform this evolution. This Virus-type Holy Knight Digimon is a new form of Omnimon, born from a fusion between the WarGreymon subspecies BlitzGreymon and the MetalGarurumon subspecies CresGarurumon.
Omnimon Alter-S is a different being from the Omnimon affiliated with the Royal Knights, but the multi-capable performance combining the special abilities of two Digimon remains the same, as does its strength. How the pair came to fuse is a mystery. Did someone will it into being? Or does this fusion exist solely because of someone’s wish? The truth of the matter is unclear.
Omnimon Alter-S uses its special move Transcendent Cannon to shoot plasma from its BlitzGreymon-shaped cannon. In addition, the slashing power of its move Supreme Sword varies depending on the energy accumulated in the blade. Nothing exists that cannot be cut by a fully charged Supreme Sword.
Once obtained, Omnimon Alter-S can mode change into Omnimon Alter-B, connecting it to the broader Omnimon evolution family.

Omnimon Zwart Defeat is a Mega+ Digimon that evolves directly from Omnimon Zwart. This Virus-type Holy Knight Digimon is the form of Omnimon Zwart transformed into a berserker after being infected with a virus program by some entity. Any Digimon that crosses Omnimon Zwart Defeat’s path is viewed as a sinister foe, and any who get close face a merciless onslaught. The clash between the raging virus and the remnant vaccine program inside its body has rendered it unstable, causing it to cycle between exhaustion and rampage while unable to heal its wounds. In one of the rare moments the vaccine program was able to push back enough for Omnimon Zwart Defeat to regain its sense of self, it bound both of its arms together in an effort to control its rampage.
This evolution adds another step to the Omnimon Zwart evolution line and serves as the bridge to Omnimon Alter-B.

Omnimon Alter-B is a Mega+ Digimon that evolves from Omnimon Zwart Defeat. This Virus-type Holy Knight Digimon is a temporary form taken on by Omnimon Alter-S after some entity had intentionally introduced Black Digitron, a sort of ooze that turns Digimon black, into its being. Omnimon is more powerful in this form, but it loses itself in a mindless rage until it changes back.
This Digimon can mode change back to Omnimon Alter-S, and can de-digivolve back to Omnimon Zwart Defeat. The entire Omnimon family—including the standard Omnimon, Omnimon Zwart, and both Alter forms—remains linked through the mode change system.

Parallelmon can travel freely between Digital Worlds in different dimensions. This baleful existence devours the data of Digimon in the worlds it crosses over to, and its purpose is a mystery. Parallelmon appears in unexpected places at unexpected times, and its coming heralds pandemonium for the world. As such, research teams consider its very appearance to be a calamity. One of Parallelmon’s special moves is Absorbent Bang, which fires a beam from its eyes that absorbs Digimon. Anything besides Digimon hit by this beam is flung to some other dimension. It also has Endless Trance, which attacks unilaterally from the countless gates it opens.
This gives players flexibility in how they obtain Parallelmon, as any of these four Mega-level Digimon can evolve into it.

| Absorbent Bang | Dark | 200 | Physical |

| Performs Null physical attack at power 75. 95% ACU. 15% CRT Rate. Target: 1 enemy | |||
One important note for players progressing through the main story: CresGarurumon is the only Data-type Digimon among the six additions. The other five—BlitzGreymon, Omnimon Alter-S, Omnimon Alter-B, Omnimon Zwart Defeat, and Parallelmon—are all Virus-type. This makes them somewhat harder to use effectively in main story battles, where type matchups can be crucial. CresGarurumon offers more versatility for general story progression.
