Disney has entered the gacha vicinity with its latest announcement “Disney Pixel RPG“, that will be coming to mobile devices. Disney Pixel RPG will be available on Android and iOS as a free-to-play game on September 9, 2024.

Pre-registration is available now with in-game rewards being sent to players once the milestones have been met.

Disney Pixel RPG features many characters from the franchise drawn in many different art styles; depending on which world they came from. There are only 8 characters that we know are going to appear in the game and they are: Mickey Mouse, Maleficent and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, Genie from Aladdin, Winnie the Pooh, Ariel from the Little Mermaid, Baymax from Big Hero 6 and Stitch from Lilo and Stitch.

The game worlds that these Disney characters call home have suddenly been invaded by strange programs, and starting to break down! These previously isolated game worlds have merged, throwing all the characters into confusion! Take on the role of a player of these games and join Disney characters as you embark on an epic quest across multiple game worlds to restore order!

What we know so far about the gameplay is that it’s going to have fast-paced strategic battles with simple controls and an auto-play function. For players that are not experienced in RPG games, this might be the game for you with it simplicity. If you’re ever away from your phone, you can send the characters on expeditions and collect the rewards after.

Disney Pixel RPG will also feature customization for your avatar. Your avatar can be fitted with Disney themed clothing.

As mentioned before, Disney Pixel RPG will be coming to mobile on Android and iOS on September 9, 2024. Remember to pre-register for the game to claim the in-game rewards once the game officially launches.
