One More Game’s cooperative roguelite shooter SWAPMEAT is coming to Steam Early Access on October 21, 2025. The game lets players swap body parts with defeated enemies to gain their abilities, creating a unique twist on the third-person shooter genre. One More Game recently released a new trailer showcasing updated gameplay alongside the Steam Next Fest demo announcement.
The game is priced at $24.99 for the Founder’s Edition, which includes two Steam copies, bonus cosmetics, a soundtrack, and early access to an unreleased solar system. The edition also comes with special items like a Golden Spatula weapon skin, Carl’s Original Golden antenna ball, and a cosmetic head based on comedian Connor O’Malley. Players who purchase the Founder’s Edition will get access to the B-Sides soundtrack as well. Any progress made during Early Access will carry over to the full release.

Before the official launch, SWAPMEAT will be featured in Steam Next Fest from October 13 through 20 with a free playable demo. The demo gives players access to the Jangus System and three alien planets: Scurvion Alpha, Barbecunis, and Calypso. Players can tackle the content solo or team up with up to three friends in co-op mode. The demo includes difficulty options ranging from Standard to Nightmare for those seeking a tougher experience.

Moreover, the demo is 2.56GB and supports controllers. Players can progress up to level 10, and this progress will transfer to the full game. During the demo period, players also have one last chance to unlock the exclusive “Quack Ops” Cosmetic Set, a rubber duck-themed gear collection that won’t be available after Early Access launches.
