Publisher Astrolabe Games and developer 91ACT have released a demo for the 2D roguelite action game BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The demo allows players to explore the first three levels of the game and test three playable characters: Ragna, Es, and Hibiki.
Dive Into the Sea of Possibility
The demo gives fans a glimpse of the game’s fast-paced, stylish combat and precise controls. Players can experiment with each character’s unique abilities, learning how to chain attacks and maximize combos. While progress from the demo will not carry over to the full game, users who save their demo data will receive an exclusive in-game item when the full game launches.

In a last-ditch effort called the Research of Possibility, the team seeks Shards of Possibility, fragments capable of preventing the world’s destruction. These shards reside within the Sea of Possibility, a strange realm between worlds, beyond reality itself.
Players assume the role of Ace, the only being capable of diving into the Sea of Possibility. Guided by the researchers, Ace repeatedly descends into this realm in pursuit of salvation. However, as the missions continue, strange visions appear, his body begins to change, and memories flood his mind. Players gradually uncover the truth behind the collapsing world and the research itself, driven by the mysterious power known only as “The Power of Azure.”
