ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) marked its 20th anniversary at CES 2026 with the Dare to Innovate virtual event, showcasing its vision for the future of gaming hardware, performance, and culture. The presentation reflected on two decades of bold experimentation, from the launch of the original Crosshair motherboard in 2006 to today’s cutting-edge, AI-powered gaming ecosystem. More than a retrospective, the showcase positioned ASUS ROG lineup of next-generation products as a continuation of its long-standing mission to challenge conventions and redefine what gaming hardware can be.
World-First Hardware and Next-Generation Systems

At the center of the announcement was the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, billed as the world’s first dual 16-inch screen gaming laptop. Featuring dual 3K ROG Nebula HDR OLED touchscreens running at 120Hz, the system is designed for multitasking across gaming, streaming, and creative workflows. Powered by the latest Intel processors and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, the Zephyrus Duo 16 emphasizes both raw performance and flexibility, supported by ROG Intelligent Cooling and multiple operating modes.

ROG also expanded its ultraportable lineup with the latest Zephyrus G14 and G16 models. These laptops introduce next-generation Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen AI processors, paired with NVIDIA’s Blackwell-based RTX 50 Series GPUs. With increased GPU power limits, improved cooling, and new Nebula HDR displays reaching up to 1100 nits, the G14 and G16 are positioned as compact systems capable of handling demanding games, AI workloads, and content creation without compromise.
High-Profile Collaborations and Experimental Design

One of the most eye-catching announcements was ROG’s collaboration with Kojima Productions. The partnership resulted in the ROG Flow Z13-KJP, a 2-in-1 gaming device inspired by Kojima Productions’ Ludens mascot and designed by Yoji Shinkawa. Combining a tablet-sized form factor with desktop-class performance, the device highlights ROG’s push toward creative cross-domain collaborations that blend gaming, art, and storytelling. The collaboration also includes themed peripherals such as headsets, mice, and mouse pads, reinforcing ROG’s growing presence in gaming culture beyond hardware alone.
Desktops, Displays, and the Future of Immersion

On the desktop front, ROG unveiled the G1000 gaming PC, featuring the world’s first holographic fan system in a prebuilt machine. Designed for both performance and visual impact, the system pairs high-end GPUs with advanced thermal solutions and extensive customization through Armoury Crate.

ROG’s display lineup continued its dominance in the OLED space, introducing next-generation Swift OLED monitors with RGB Stripe Pixel technology. Alongside these, the ROG XREAL R1 Gaming Glasses debuted as the world’s first 240Hz micro-OLED AR gaming glasses, signaling ROG’s ambition to expand gaming beyond traditional screens.
A Look Ahead

With CES 2026, ROG made it clear that its 20th anniversary is not a culmination, but a launch point. By combining AI-ready performance, experimental hardware, and bold collaborations, ROG continues to push gaming technology toward new forms of immersion and self-expression. Attendees at CES can experience these innovations firsthand at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas from January 5 to 8, 2026.
