The Kuala Lumpur Orchestra has announced the ASEAN Digital Content Concert, a live showcase that blends orchestral music with popular Malaysian and ASEAN animation and video game IPs. Presented by Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) in collaboration with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the concert highlights the region’s growing digital creative scene through sound and visuals.

Celebrating ASEAN Digital Creativity

The concert highlights how orchestral performances can enhance storytelling across animation and video games. The Kuala Lumpur Orchestra will perform live while visuals inspired by regional IPs play alongside the music. Through this format, the event places Southeast Asian digital content on a shared cultural stage. It also supports ongoing efforts to elevate local creative industries.
Featured IPs and Musical Program

The program features 19 orchestral pieces drawn from well-known regional titles. Malaysian IPs include Ejen Ali, BoBoiBoy, Mechamato, Didi & Friends, Papazola, Oga & Friends, Makania, Mastra, Pada Zaman Dahulu, and NSR 1 & 2. Game fans will also hear music from GigaBash and Rhythm Doctor. In addition, the concert includes regional works such as Thailand’s Out of Nest and projects from Singapore’s Robot Playground Media.
Event Dates and Venue Information

The ASEAN Digital Content Concert will take place at Auditorium Bandaraya, DBKL. The first performance is scheduled for December 20, 2025, at 8:00 PM. A second session follows on December 21, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Both sessions will feature the full orchestral program.
Registration and Audience Benefits
Attendees can register through the Tempah KL app, where seats are available in limited numbers. Selected sessions also offer certificates and PAJSK points, which benefit students and young participants. Therefore, early registration is strongly encouraged.

By combining live orchestral music with animation and game IPs, the ASEAN Digital Content Concert celebrates regional creativity in a fresh format. At the same time, it reinforces Malaysia’s role in promoting ASEAN digital content through collaborative cultural events. For more updates on the concert, follow their official X account.
