Apple Arcade Adds NFL Retro Bowl ’26, Jeopardy! Daily, and Hello Kitty Island Adventure Update This September

Apple Arcade is set for a stacked September, bringing new games and updates to its 200+ ad-free library. Leading the charge is NFL Retro Bowl ’26, launching September 4 exclusively on the platform.

Developed by New Star Games, this retro-styled, NFL-licensed football title debuts the new Championship Leaderboard mode. Players can represent their favourite NFL teams in weekly matchups synced with the 2025 season schedule, earning points to push their team up the live rankings.

Joining on the same day is Jeopardy! Daily by Frosty Pop Games, which delivers exclusive clues written by the quiz show’s own writers.

Players can enjoy new boards every day, test their skills in tournaments, and climb the global leaderboard.

Rounding out the September 4 arrivals is My Talking Tom Friends+, the virtual pet life-sim featuring Tom, Angela, Hank, and the gang in one lively world filled with mini-games and activities.

Mid-Month Magic: Hello Kitty Island Adventure

On September 18, Hello Kitty Island Adventure expands with the Wheatflour Wonderland update. This whimsical new area features waving grain fields, stained-glass castles, and mysterious ruins. Players will meet Cogimyun, a new character with a quest to unlock the Ancient Citadel and uncover hidden treasures, all free for Arcade subscribers.

August Highlights Leading Into September

Before September’s big releases, Apple Arcade is also rolling out major updates in August:

• Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition (Aug 20): Explore the new Inside Out realm and work alongside Joy and Sadness.
• Mini Motorways (Aug 26): Creative Mode lets players fully customise and redesign maps.
• Snake.io+ (Aug 27): Among Us collaboration with four exclusive crewmate skins.

Additional updates are coming to titles like Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE, Sonic Dream Team, and It’s Literally Just Mowing+.

Apple Arcade Access and Pricing

Apple Arcade is available for RM29.90/month with a one-month free trial. It’s also included in Apple One bundles starting from RM34.90/month. A single subscription covers up to six family members, with all games free from ads and in-app purchases.
