Digimon Adventure Releases New Music Video Ahead Of WarGreymon Reveal

The Toei Animation YouTube channel has put out a new music video for an insert song to be used in the Digimon Adventure anime next week.

The song is titled “Be The Winners”, and will be used for the reveal of WarGreymon, Agumon’s Mega form. The song is performed by Takayoshi Tanimoto.

Those worried about spoilers for next week’s Digimon Adventure needn’t worry, as the music video instead serves as a look back on the cast’s evolution throughout the Digimon reboot.

The montage only goes as far as the cast’s Champion forms, so there won’t be any footage of the new forms for MetalGreymon or WereGarurumon. However, Omegamon does show up towards the end of the video, but none of the footage is new.

While WarGreymon has appeared previously in the anime, it was limited to cameo-level appearances and never having its full form shown off. This week’s episode will mark its first full reveal.

The music video was first shown off at Jump Festa 2021 Online, an online livestream that saw plenty more Digimon news, including updates on the Digimon Vital Bracelet. On top of that, there was also news regarding the Digimon Card Game.

The remake for Digimon Adventure has gained a lot of attention for the fact that it tells a mostly new story rather than just imitating its predecessor. This includes the earlier reveal for WarGreymon, as well as the new forms for MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon.
