The Master of the Martial Arts is ready to tear things up as Master Roshi comes to Dragon Ball FighterZ. Goku’s mentor joins the roster as the third DLC character for Dragon Ball FighterZ’s third season pass.
The short trailer reveal starts by showing off the earlier two characters that are already available in the pass. The trailer also shows several iconic locales including the Kame House.
After Master Roshi is revealed, we’re treated to some gameplay of the old man who destroyed the moon. The trailer kept his gameplay brief, only showing a few of his moves . However, it’s safe to assume he follows the same aggressive playstyle of the other characters in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Fans worried about the tone they’d use to portray Master Roshi need not worry though, as the old man has a lot of the silliness that’s become a staple of the original Dragon Ball.
We also get to check out Master Roshi’s Evil Containment Wave, one of the most feared moves in the Dragon Ball universe.
Though the trailer didn’t announce a price, it’s safe to assume that Master Roshi would sharea price tag with the other fighters. Ultra Instinct Goku and Kefla are available individually for MYR 20 (USD 4.99) each.
Alternatively, fans can get their hands on Ultra Instinct Goku, Kefla, Master Roshi and two more unannounced fighters by buying FighterZ Pass for MYR 79 (USD 19.99).
Master Roshi will be available some time in September as the third playable character of FighterZ Pass 3.
