Putting aside whatever concerns we have, Monster Hunter Riders is proving popular enough to achieve 2 million downloads!
To celebrate the milestone, 300 orbs and stamina recovery presents will be given to players. This follows the 1 million downloads milestone from 21 February, that also provided orb gifts, Rider enhancement material quest tickets, Monster enhancement material quest tickets and Zeny quest tickets.
Monster Hunter Riders is a mobile strategy gacha game with gacha elements. It began service 19 February for Japan. The strategies employed in the game naturally vastly differ from the mainline console games, employing a turn based tactics style rather than getting the gear to hunt down often larger than life monsters in a real time battle system. We did a deeper review on the game after spending more time on it that you can check out here.
A global version is unlikely to be in the works so soon, but Capcom could try surprising us with news on it sooner rather than later. For now, Monster Hunter Riders is Japan only. Whatever it is, congratulations to Monster Hunter Riders for achieving the 2 million download milestone within its first week of service, and we’ll see what else they will be adding to the game in the future.
