[G-Star 2019]New and exciting details for Pearl Abyss finally unveiled!

On the 13th, Pearl Abyss unveiled a long waited list of games that the company is going to be heavily working on. There are a few and new details on games such as PLAN 8, Crimson Desert, DokeV and Shadow Arena. In Pearl Abyss’s Conference, Pearl Abyss Connect 2019 in Busan, South Korea, they finally talked more details on their games as listed just now, especially Shadow Arena. The conference was livestreamed on Pearl Abyss’s official Twitch and Youtube channels which now can be viewed at any time.

PLAN 8

This game features a realistic graphics set within an expansive sci-fi world filled with interesting and mysterious storylines. Pearl Abyss is maximizing their wold famous combat system from the MMORPG games to create a new type of shooting game.

PLAN 8 is a game where exosuit is used in a MMO shooter developed by Minh Lee as Technical Advisor and Seungki Lee as Lead Producer. Minh Le is one of the co-creator of Counter-Strike series, he will be bringing his expertise in the shooting genre to assist the development. Seungki Lee will be doing his best in terms of art as he is experienced in both Black Desert Online and Black Desrt Mobile.

DokeV

DokeV is game that revolves around a variety of unique creatures, known as “dokebi”, that grow and gain power from people’s dreams. The game is targeted to be having a beta test in 2020.

Crimson Desert

The new MMORPG that was long awaited by fans for Pearl Abyss. Crimson Desert set in a fantasy world on the continent of Pywel. It has been produced since 2018 by Jason Jung, a former game Design Director of RYL Online.  Daeil Kim, the founder of Pearl Abyss, acts as the Lead Producer and Eter Lee, former Lead Combat Designer of RYL Online, is in charge of the action combat system for the title. Crimson Desert is currently aiming for a beta test for PC & console in 2020.

The name of the game was originated from a region in Black Desert, Crimson Desert. Although such cliche of an event, Crimson Desert is not a sequel, but a while new IP. The title started as the prequel to Black Desert, but during development, Pearl Abyss began to create an entirely different storyline and characters.

Crimson Desert does not focus on a group of glorious heroes attempting to rule the continent of Pywel, but instead centers on a host of mercenaries fighting for their lives to survive. As the main character within the first trailer for Crimson Desert, Macduff is the leader of a mercenary group with a tragic past. Distressed over his responsibilities, he must survive in the deadly lands of Pywel. Crimson Desert features both online multiplayer and single player content.

Shadow Arena

Shadow Arena is a fantasy battle royale featuring legendary heroes from Black Desert. There’s 2 featured game modes, individual and team, where players will experience a unique action-packed combat system.
