ARGONAVIS Project Details

ARGONAVIS, a project spun off BanG Dream! has announced more details. It includes an anime, smartphone game and music CDs. The project will also be present at Animate Girls Festival 2019 at Booth W-25.

Via BandoriSeiyuu’s Twitter, the anime will air Spring 2020, with a website you can check here. ARGONAVIS in caps is the name of the project, while the band is Argonavis. They will be joined by fellow band GYROAXIA.

GYROAXIA’s members are:

• Vo. Asahi Nayuta (CV: Ogasawara Jin)
• Gt. Satozuka Kenta (CV: ???)
• Gt. Misono Reon (CV: ???)
• Ba. Akebono Ryou (CV: ???)
• Dr. Sakaigawa Miyuki (CV: ???)

The two bands will be releasing a joint single as well. There will be a Blu-ray disc with various bonuses, alongside first-print limited edition bonuses.

Moving on, the project will have a smartphone game called AASide (“double A side”). The game is scheduled to release in the second half of 2020. Its genre is “rhythm and adventure”, developed by DeNA. The scenario is by Mouri Nobuhiro, with character designs by Hikaru Miyoshi. The game’s website is also up. Aside from Argonavis and GYROAXIA, they will be joined by a third band: Fantôme Iris.

They’re comprised of:

AASide is said to contain “a huge amount of scenarios”, a story where “your choices change the future”. The game will take place after the anime. You’ll be aiming for the top of the “Live Royale Fes”, where amateur bands will face off against each other.

Players will be managing band member schedules at school, part-time work and practice. There will be original songs and anisong covers. Songs revealed to be in the game for now are:

• Goal Line / Argonavis
• AASide / Argonavis
• MANIFESTO / GYROAXIA
• Gin no Yuri / Fantôme Iris

The pre-registration campaign rewards for AASide are as follows:

• 10,000: Currency for 1x Gacha roll
• 20,000: Currency for 2x Gacha rolls + real Jingisukan set for 10x random winners
• 50,000: Currency for 3x Gacha rolls + real squid for 10x random winners
