Mirage Memorial Global – First Impressions

It’s been a few days since the release of Mirage Memorial Global. How have you been playing it? Have you gotten your favourite servant? Here’s our initial impressions.

Combat is straightforward: a maximum of five units in a formation will automatically clash with units on the opposing side. Your units have various skills they can unleash, be it healing, attack or buffs/debuffs. You can set them to automatically use skills, or tap them to manually fire. Strategy lies in the servants you bring, how you upgrade them and so forth!

Upgrade your servants’ skills, their levels and equipment! They’ll also be accompanied by two smaller units, dubbed “mercenaries”, which can also be upgraded. Servants can be promoted to higher star rankings and colour borders to increase their stats. Keep at it and even your weakest servant can reach max potential! Duplicates from the gacha can be fed as materials to the same servant to increase star level. Servant levels can only be as high as Master level. The gacha can also give item boxes and item shards.

Getting S rank in story missions will grant additional rewards. As is the norm with these games, you’ll have various milestone missions you can get for more things. Having friends or Alliances only mean more things to do, of course. You can fight other players in the Arena, fight World Bosses, or participate in Alliance battles. You can chat with your servants and get items from them as well. Bonding is locked to Master rank, so you’ll need to be sufficiently invested in the game to get deeper bonds with your servants.

You can also change your homescreen servant from here. They’ll be rendered in Live 2D.

Mirage Memorial Global does not particularly bring anything new or unique to the table, save for the Live 2D Bonding (which is locked behind Master Rank 55). If you are interested in any of the designs or voice actors, then you might find this game interesting.
