Capcom reveals more details on Devil May Cry 5

Capcom has revealed details on the upcoming Devil May Cry 5 today. The details include characters, familiars as well as an exclusive demo.

V, The Mysterious Character

One of the details revealed by Capcom is the mysterious character, V. The slender man wields a cane and a book and comes to the game with impressive tattoos. Other than his cane and book, V has the ability to summon various familiars to do his bidding.

Each of V’s familiars provide bonuses to himself. In Devil May Cry 5, V has access to 3 different familiars. The Shadow takes the form of a quadruped beasts and gives V additional movement speed. On the other hand, the Grifon provides long range support for V and can also be used to give V a lift. Lastly, the Nightmare, V’s strongest familiar, provides V with immense destruction with its massive fists and laser beams.

Game modes

Furthermore, Capcom revealed the presence of a Cameo System, a form of online play, in the game. Using the system, players can see other players fighting in the distance. Moreover, certain missions allow players to team up as a co-op mission.

In addition, Capcom teased a form of Arena mode known as the Bloody Palace. At the moment, Capcom has not released any information on the Bloody Palace. However, they have announced that it will launch in April 2019 as a free update.

Demo

Lastly, Capcom announced an exclusive demo of Devil May Cry 5. The demo will only be available on the Xbox One at the moment. Other platforms will receive the demo at a later time. The demo can be played from today onwards until January 6th 2019.
