The days of Shigeru Miyamoto teasing us with their new Nintendo Super Mario Run game has come to an end. The game has finally launched on the Apple App Store! It is a paid app that is priced at RM39.90, however this is the first Super Mario game that is on mobile. Shigeru Miyamoto mentioned that he will not be bringing Super Mario Bros to mobile because the community does not like that it is paid. So this might just be the only legit Super Mario game that is on mobile!

As the name says, Super Mario Run, isn’t your typical Mario game. You can’t fully control Mario other that performing jumps, spins and other tricks with a tap on the screen while Mario runs automatically forward through your screen. The game is simple yet needs skills and time spent on it to be really good at it. You will need internet connection to play the game as there is a multiplayer mode where you compete with another player to race through the stage to see who collected the most coins and who is the fastest to the finishing flagpole. It is pretty intense when they’ve put a mode like this to compete with the world online.
There are also unlockable characters too namely they are Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Toad and Toadette. For each character, they all have their distinct “ability” that will definitely help you on collecting coins or reach higher places for the secret coins. I will talk about how to unlock them in the future so stay tuned to find out more!
