Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced a new DLC for Digimon Story: Time Stranger called A Hero’s Eternal Legacy and is set to launch in 2027. The expansion is set three years after the events of the base game, which followed the Agents and the Olympos XII as they fought to protect both the human world and the digital world of Iliad.
According to the official description, a new hero appears in this story, and players will follow a tale built around courage and friendship as this hero discovers what it truly means to become legendary.
In A Hero’s Eternal Legacy players will explore unexplored areas of Iliad as they follow this new hero’s journey. Along the way, they will come across more than 50 new Digimon that were not part of the original game, adding fresh creatures for players to encounter and interact with during the adventure.
The game is already available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam. With this newly confirmed DLC, players who have completed Digimon Story: Time Stranger will have more content to look forward to when A Hero’s Eternal Legacy arrives in 2027.
