YHKT ENTERTAINMENT just dropped a reveal trailer for their new narrative-driven fantasy action RPG for PC, mobile, and PS5, Bringer. The game will make its first public appearance at Gamescom, in Hall 10.1, Booth E053 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, where players can try an early demo.

Bringer’s art doesn’t come as a surprise either, as YHKT ENTERTAINMENT is one of the most established animators in China. The game marks the company’s first major foray into video game development, following their success in Chinese animation with titles such as Ling Cage: Incarnation. The trailer showcased its beautiful visuals, powered by Unreal Engine 5 as well as cinematic pre-rendered cutscenes. Gameplay clips of exploration and combat were also shown, with some bits and pieces of its story, made possible by the expressive character performances.
According to YHKT ENTERTAINMENT, Bringer offers an adventure in a distinctive world, defined by the “Thalassa” and colossal creatures known as “Arkiloth.” Players will be put in the shoes of a traveler to navigate the beautiful open world and uncover its hidden truths and ancient mysteries. The game will also give players the ability to seamlessly switch between party members. The mechanic would allow players to mix up their gameplay by switching to other fighting styles and weapons in real-time.
Finishers are also present in the game, making combat feel more impactful. Furthermore, the fleshed-out parry and dodge systems look to make enemy encounters in-depth and thoroughly responsive. Bringer seems to be an ambitious first step from YHKT ENTERTAINMENT, as they dive deeper into the gaming realm. With Gamescom arriving soon, players can get their first hands-on with what the established animators have in store.
