Warner Bros. Games has released the official launch trailer for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, giving fans a look at Bruce Wayne’s journey from his origins all the way to becoming Gotham City’s legendary hero.
The trailer is set to Seal’s Grammy-winning song “Kiss from a Rose,” which was originally featured on the Batman Forever (1995) film soundtrack. It showcases both cinematic moments and gameplay, with the Caped Crusader joined by a lineup of allies including Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Jim Gordon, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul. On the villain side, players can expect to face The Joker, Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Two-Face, Ra’s al Ghul, and Bane, among others.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launches worldwide on May 22 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders are currently available for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions on those platforms. Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will get 72-hour early access starting May 19, three days ahead of the main launch. All pre-orders come of the game with The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit at launch, which is based on the well-known comic book series of the same name.
Players who create a Warner Bros. Games account, or those who already have one, can unlock the Golden Age Batsuit at launch. This is available to eligible users at no extra cost. A Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game has also been announced, though it will arrive later in 2026 and is available to wishlist now.
