ASUS Malaysia has officially announced the TUF Gaming A14 (2026) FA401EA, a compact gaming laptop that pairs a lightweight build with AMD’s newest processor.
The FA401EA runs on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 392 processor with Radeon 8060S Graphics. The chip comes with 12 CPU cores and 40 GPU compute units, which ASUS says is capable of handling the latest AAA games and esports titles without breaking a sweat. It also includes a built-in NPU (Neural Processing Unit) that delivers up to 50 TOPS of AI performance, allowing users to run AI-related tasks locally on the device rather than relying on cloud services.

One of the more practical highlights of this laptop is its local AI capability. With the built-in NPU, users can run features like hand gesture detection, eye gaze correction, and Windows Copilot tools such as email summarization directly on the device. This means less dependence on an internet connection, lower cloud costs, and reduced power use for everyday AI tasks. For creators or users who do not require a dedicated GPU, ASUS positions the FA401EA as a capable option at a more accessible price compared to laptops with discrete graphics cards.
Despite its compact size, the TUF Gaming A14 manages to pack in a fair amount of performance headroom. The laptop weighs just 1.48kg and measures 1.69cm thick, making it one of the lighter options in the gaming laptop segment. It supports a maximum TDP of 95W in Manual Mode, which is notably higher than many competing thin-and-light gaming laptops.
To keep temperatures in check at that power level, ASUS fitted the laptop with new stronger fan motors and 97-blade fans that move more air than the previous generation. Priced at RM 7,599, the TUF Gaming A14 (2026) FA401EA is now available at ASUS authorized resellers across Malaysia.
