The original Persona, released as Revelations: Persona, debuted in 1996. As a result, the franchise will officially turn 30 in 2026, marking a major milestone for Atlus and its global fanbase.

In an interview with Japanese outlet 4Gamer, Persona series producer Kazuhisa Wada revealed that Atlus is actively preparing a wide range of initiatives. These plans aim to celebrate the anniversary on a global scale.
According to Wada, the team has already begun laying the groundwork. Although he did not confirm specific projects, he suggested that fans will hear more about the series’ future during 2026. He also emphasized that Atlus is fully committed to building excitement around the franchise.

Nearly a Decade Since the Last Mainline Entry
