Black Clover: Phantom Knights Launches Open Beta For Android!

Black Clover: Phantom Knights (ブラッククローバー 夢幻の騎士団) is a game by Bandai Namco and was announced back in April. The game that’s coming to both iOS and Android consists of characters that are based off the 2017 animated series, Black Clover. They had just launched the Open Beta for Android on Google Play Store which runs from today to 25th July, 13:59 (JST).

Stated on their site, there is a device requirement to play the game. It is recommended players should have at least Android 6.0 and above with at least 2GB of RAM. Once the OBT is over, players’ data will be wiped and will not be able to bring forward to the official launch.

If you don’t know about the game, it features characters from the series – characters from White Night Eye, Magic Knights and the Diamond Kingdom. There are a total of 22 playable characters currently and you will have to build a team of five. The battle system features a tile-based battle system where players will need to move the characters to attack or defend support characters.

The name Black Clover: Mugen no Kishidan, has been translated by many differently. There’s no official English name, however on a personal level, I do believe the best translation in English should be Black Clover: Phantom Knights as Mugen can be translated to be Phantom or Infinite while Kishidan is Knights. Plus, Phantom Knights just sounds cooler!
