KRAFTON has officially taken over publishing duties for Hi-Fi RUSH from Bethesda Softworks, the company announced. The transition, which began on November 14, 2025, marks a significant change for the rhythm-action game following KRAFTON’s acquisition of developer Tango Gameworks and the Hi-Fi RUSH IP in August 2024.
Digital storefronts across all platforms will gradually update to show KRAFTON as the game’s publisher. An in-game patch scheduled for December 4, 2025 will update elements within the game itself to reflect the new ownership. Players should note that the Bethesda.net connection feature has been disabled, which may cause some error messages to appear until the December patch arrives.

KRAFTON has confirmed that the publisher change will not impact gameplay content or player data for Hi-Fi RUSH. All save files, achievements, purchased downloadable content, and game progress will remain intact. Players won’t need to reinstall the game, though an automatic update may download when launching after the transfer.
For Steam users, Cloud saves will continue to work, though KRAFTON recommends backing up local save files as a precaution during the transition period. All previously purchased DLC, soundtracks, and additional content will remain accessible. Starting November 14, 2025, all support inquiries should go through KRAFTON Customer Support. Refund requests for Steam purchases will continue to be handled by Steam Support directly.

Game Pass subscribers can continue playing without interruption, though they may also encounter the Bethesda.net connection error message until the December update.
